WAVERLY HEALTH CENTER

While studying at Wartburg College, I held a five-month internship with the Waverly Health Center. During my time, I helped nurses create educational handouts for classroom visits to local elementary schools. I also wrote several press releases for events to be held by the hospital. My main task was to rewrite patient handouts for radiology procedures in accessible language, according to Planetree standards. Below is one sample of the handouts.
